Efficient processing of pension payments for a non-profit religious organization

The Challenge

The headquarters of a major religious organization in the Northeast asked Prelude for a centralized payment system to issue its accounts payable and pension payments, and to produce remittance advices for direct deposit payments.

The Solution

Prelude implemented its PayPilot product, enabling the client to process and track the lifecycle of all payments in a data-driven, scalable environment. It integrates pension data from a custom application with information for multiple bank accounts in a single, streamlined system to produce and manage a high volume of pension payments.

The software imports information from originating systems, processes all payments, prints checks using MICR technology on blank safety stock, then exports updated information back to the appropriate departments. This client also uses PayPilot to process external direct deposit feeds and generate custom remittance advices. Authorized operations staff can access the centralized database at any time for queries, reporting, printing file copies, or manual input of payment information.
