Prelude Signs Midwest Insurer as PointPay Client
Natick, Mass., March 20, 2006 — A national, multi-line insurance corporation based in the Midwest has purchased PointPay, Prelude’s mobile payment solution. The insurer will use PointPay to issue payments at the point of adjustment in their mobile claim offices and automatically upload claim data to their home office systems.
The mobile claims offices were deployed to help adjusters accelerate claim closure. By automating the issuance of claim payments at the point of adjustment, insureds will receive a professional check and exceptional customer service. Replacing the handwritten checks that were previously used with an automated process not only enhances the company image, but it also enhances payment security and reduce administrative costs.
